Mandy is a former corporate lawyer and Pro Bono Co-ordinator. Her varied experience includes serving on a number of NFP boards in the philanthropic and charitable sectors including; the Lord Mayors’ Charitable Foundation, Australian Prostate Cancer Research Limited, Sharing Stories Foundation and as Chair of the Penington Institute. Currently Mandy is one of the Trustees of the Collier Charitable Fund. To further her philanthropic knowledge she has also completed a post-graduate course in Corporate Social Investment at Swinburne University of Technology. Mandy has been an active member of PK since 2005.
Gillian’s professional experience is across three portfolios: teaching, publishing and in the philanthropic sector. Her NFP board experience includes: Director, Variety the children’s charity, Chair, Royal Botanic Gardens Foundation Board and Director, Royal Botanic Gardens Victoria Board. Currently she is Co Founder of Melbourne Women’s Foundation, (originally named Melbourne Women’s Fund). Gillian holds a Masters in Social Investment and Philanthropy, from Swinburne University. She greatly enjoys all the benefits of membership and the experience of serving on PK’s Community Foundation Committee to help grow our fundraising efforts for the Frankston Community.
Hayden is an ADF Veteran having served for 12 years in the Royal Australian Navy where he completed an MBA during his career as a Logistics Officer. He is now a partner of an Indigenous and Veteran owned consultancy delivering professional services to Defence projects across Australia. Hayden is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors having completed the Company Directors Course and has been a member of PK since 2015.
Jenny Picking joined PK in 1979 and has been an integral contributor to the club over the years. She served as Women’s Captain between 2016-2019 before becoming the Peninsula Kingswood Country Golf Club’s first female Club President in 2022.
Steve has been a Principal Director and Licensed Estate Agent in his own business in Bayside Melbourne for over 35 years. A member of PK since 2021, he enjoys the friendship and long-term relationships he’s built throughout his many years of involvement in and around various sporting organisations. He was also an active Board member of the Family Life NFP organization for 12 years, often organising high profile charity and fund-raising events. His passion for helping implement support services for the vulnerable and marginalised in our community was borne out of his many years in his role at Family Life. Steve has always had an affinity with sports of all kinds, having participated in football, cricket, golf, and surfing. With his wife Eils, also a passionate PK member, he welcomes the opportunity to further enhance the wonderful benefits the Foundation brings to those most in need.
Melissa owns and runs her own mortgage broking business and also has a background in business development as well as marketing and events. She worked in a number of non for profit organisations and local government before becoming her own boss. She currently volunteers at Community Support Frankston which is a local charity that provides support to the vulnerable and homeless in the Frankston area, and has been a member of PK since 2020.
Anthony White is a dedicated and passionate individual who has extensive experience in managing NFP organisations. Anthony played a crucial role in the establishment of the Hobsons Bay Community Fund during his tenure as the General Manager at Kooringal GC. Currently serving as the Director of Operations and a valued member of the PK executive team, Anthony continues to contribute his expertise and leadership to make a positive difference in the community.
